The WeatherMaker 8000VS offers low stage heating to gently circulate warm, comfortable air throughout your home. This "low speed" heating cycle operates nearly continuously to maintain your comfort with amazing consistency. Standard furnaces are limited to providing full-on heating, followed by full-off cycles and falling indoor temperatures. The WeatherMaker 8000VS is the quietest model of our extra-quiet, 80% AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) family of furnaces. Our engineers have been doing a lot of testing, and we’ve found that this model is the quietest furnace in the industry during low-stage heating where it operates the majority of the time. That’s the result of many subtle changes and improvements from previous designs. SmartEvap provides extra humidity removal in the cooling season when our optional Thermidistat Control is included in your system. This feature recognizes times when moisture builds up on the indoor coil. Fan operation is adjusted to prevent moisture from re-entering your home. SmartEvap can provide an additional 10% of humidity removal compared to a typical system.ComfortFan lets you control fan speed during continuous fan speed during continuous fan operation, allowing you to achieve greater comfort without changing temperature settings. By giving you better control over airflow, ComfortFan lets you make adjustments to account for unusually large gatherings in your home, changing weather conditions and more. Gentle, nearly continuous airflow is provided by our variable-speed blower. Low-speed airflow is quieter and provides even, consistent temperatures throughout your home. 40% longer "on" cycles use 60% less electricity than standard, single-speed blowers. 4. Comfort and gas efficiency are two reasons why we include a two-stage gas valve. The two-stage gas valve automatically adjusts between low and high stage heating for optimum performance.

IDEAL CONTROL
All indoor comfort systems provide some humidity control during cooling operation, but IdealHumidity is the only system that can control moisture even when the indoor temperature does not require heating or cooling operation. Why is humidity control so important? Heated air during the winter becomes extra dry. Because dry air feels cooler, you’ll tend to set your thermostat higher to feel warm. During cooling season, high humidity makes you feel warm, sticky and less than comfortable. So, you go to the thermostat and set the system for additional cooling. IdealHumidity monitors temperature and humidity, then automatically adjusts operation as needed to create ideal comfort for your home.
